Meet Our Excellent Dental Team

Ethan Ellis is the dedicated Office Manager and Insurance Coordinator at Alpine Dental, where he co-owns the practice with his wife, Dr. Jennifer Ellis. Raised in Bozeman, Ethan’s strong organizational skills and attention to detail ensure that the clinic runs smoothly, providing patients with the highest level of care and support. His role involves managing office operations, coordinating insurance matters, and fostering a welcoming environment for patients. Ethan’s commitment to the practice is evident in his meticulous approach to ensuring that every aspect of the patient experience is seamless and stress-free.

Ethan and Dr. Jennifer Ellis are proud alumni of Indiana University, where they developed a deep-rooted connection to their alma mater, supporting their beloved Hoosiers while also cheering for the Montana State Bobcats. Together, they balance their professional lives with a love for outdoor activities, often spending their free time exploring the beautiful Montana landscape with their two children, Declan and Brecken, and their loyal black lab, Guinness. Ethan’s dedication to his family, his role at Alpine Dental, and his passion for both Indiana and Montana make him an integral part of the Bozeman community.

I have been Dr. Smith’s assistant for over 26 years. I used to tease Dr. Jenny when she was growing up that someday we would work together and now here we are sharing another chapter in this wonderful journey. We welcome our patients old and new with open arms to a dental experience that is over the top, above and beyond.

I grew up in a big family and am the oldest of seven siblings. I have a wonderful husband Steve along with two amazing and talented boys, Brandon and Cody. I enjoy camping, fishing, bargain shopping, collecting cookbooks, doing artwork, animals of all kinds including cats, birds and dogs, especially Boxers. I spend a lot of time gardening and canning, listening to music, target shooting and watching old movies. I enjoy spending hours in my kitchen cooking with love for my family, friends and neighbors. I love the outdoors and am blessed to take drives with my husband soaking up the amazing views that surround us. His famous last words are always “I wonder where this road goes….”

Tirzah has been working as an assistant in the dental field since 2017. She completed her EFDA Certification at Concord Career College. She is also cross-trained on the administrative side of our practice. She is extremely proud to be a part of a dynamic team of professionals and enjoys working in an environment that promotes continuous learning and innovation. Tirzah’s versatility and attention to detail make her a valuable member of our team.

In Her free time she likes to ride horses, hike and spend time on the water. Tirzah also loves being a grandmother to her 15-month-old granddaughter with another one on the way.

Megan graduated from the University of South Dakota in 2022 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene and is excited to call Bozeman home. She enjoys working with patients of all ages and building relationships with each person. In school, she developed a passion for learning about the oral-systemic link and enjoys educating patients on the importance of oral health. She values the positive patient-centered approach that Alpine Dental creates for their patients.

In her free time, Megan enjoys everything Montana has to offer. Her hobbies include hiking, backpacking, snowboarding, running, and she has recently been learning to fly fish.

I am originally from the Big Island of Hawaii, but have called Montana home since 2020. I enjoy spending as much time outside as I can and soaking up everything that Montana has to offer. During the warmer months I enjoy fishing, camping, and kayaking; and you will usually find me snowboarding during the Winter!

I attended Colorado State University for my undergraudate where I recieved my Bachelors degree in Biology. I then continued
my studies at Great Falls College- MSU to attain my Dental Hygiene degree.

I grew up in the dental world, which makes my appreciation for this office and its technological advancements even greater. I have been a part of this amazing team since May of 2022 and from the start I knew that this was the office for me. The entire staff is dedicated to patient care and bettering the oral health of our community. I am blessed to work with such a great dentist and dental team.

I have enjoyed working as part of the Alpine Dental team since 2015. I grew up in Montana and have lived in the Bozeman area for over 34 years. I received a degree from MSU in elementary education–go Bobcats!! I am thankful to have remained in the beautiful Gallatin Valley. I met and married the love of my life, Jeremy, during our college years. We have 2 adult children who are now married, and thus far have 3 beautiful grandchildren. When I am not in the office, you will find me joyfully spending time with my grandchildren, reading, enjoying music, and serving at our church. Family is precious to us, and I love the family-like atmosphere that is present at Alpine Dental. Our entire staff strives to give excellent and compassionate care to every patient.

I have loved being a part of the Alpine Dental team now for three years and previously worked at a pediatric dental office for 6 years. I received a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology in 2002 and have enjoyed working in various medical practices every since. I have been living in Bozeman for twenty years now with my husband and three children. We enjoy traveling, hiking, skiing and being a part of our local church and school. I also have a hobby flower farm and enjoy growing as many blooms as I can from seed, in our short season! I love the family feel of Alpine Dental and enjoy the teamwork we can provide to best take care of all your dental needs.
